What is in OVERclock?

How and when should I take OVERclock?

2 capsules in the morning with a glass of water, with or after breakfast. Do not take it in the afternoon or evening because of the caffeine. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

How much caffeine is in it, and can I drink coffee?

Accepted Answer

The daily dose contains 100 mg of caffeine - about as much as a small cup of filter coffee. According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), up to 400 mg of caffeine a day from all sources and up to 200 mg at a time raise no concerns for healthy adults. Count coffee, tea and energy drinks together with OVERclock. If you are sensitive to caffeine, start with 1 capsule.

Why L-theanine together with caffeine?

L-theanine is an amino acid found naturally in tea - so in a cup of tea the two always come together. The 2:1 ratio (200 mg L-theanine to 100 mg caffeine) is one often used in studies of the combination. The sources for every ingredient are in the "Science" table above.

What is rhodiola and what does "3% rosavins" mean?

Rhodiola rosea is a plant from the cold mountain regions of Europe and Asia; the root is used. Rosavins are its characteristic compounds. "Standardised to 3%" means every batch of the extract contains at least 3% rosavins, so the amount does not depend on the harvest. There are no authorised health claims for rhodiola in the EU, so we do not promise a specific effect.

What does the EU say about vitamins B6 and B12 in OVERclock?

The daily dose provides 100% of the reference intake of vitamin B6 and 1000% of B12, so the EU-authorised wording applies (Regulation (EU) 432/2012): vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the normal function of the nervous system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. We use the active forms - pyridoxal-5-phosphate and methylcobalamin.

Who should not take OVERclock?

Accepted Answer

Not recommended for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women (because of the caffeine and rhodiola), people sensitive to caffeine, or people with high blood pressure or heart problems without medical advice. If you take medication - especially antidepressants, blood pressure or diabetes medication - ask your doctor. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet.

Can I take OVERclock together with clockOUT?

Yes - the formulas are made for the same day: OVERclock in the morning, clockOUT in the evening. Both contain L-theanine (200 mg in the morning and 100 mg in the evening). Only OVERclock contains caffeine. The DAY + NIGHT pack is the best value.

How many capsules are in a pack and how long does it last?

At 2 capsules a day: 60 capsules for 30 days, 120 for 60 days and 180 for 90 days. The bigger the pack, the lower the price per day. Store in a dry place below 25 °C.
