How to read a supplement label

A supplement label tells you a lot if you know what to look for.

1. The form of the ingredient

The same ingredient exists in different chemical forms - magnesium oxide, citrate or bisglycinate, for example. A good label states exactly which one is used.

2. The amount per daily dose

Look for the amount of each ingredient in the dose you actually take. A “proprietary blend 1500 mg” with no breakdown tells you nothing about each ingredient.

3. Extract standardisation

For botanical extracts, standardisation shows what percentage of the characteristic compounds is guaranteed. Without it, the amount is unknown.

4. The batch

The batch number lets you trace a specific production run. On our packs, the QR code leads to the certificate for your exact batch.
